This interesting job puts you at the heart of the VMDs Residues Section of the Surveillance Division.
The office is responsible for delivery of a GB programme of testing for residues of prohibited substances, veterinary medicines and contaminants in foodstuffs.
Delivery of this statutory programme of work is key to assuring the safety of GB Products of Animal Origin (POAO) and critical to ensuring export/trade of GB foodstuffs.
