Details
From 1 August you need to pay the HGV levy to drive an HGV over 12,000kg in the UK.

Non-UK HGVs can use the payment service now to pay in advance for trips you will make from 1 August onwards.
UK HGVs pay the levy alongside their vehicle excise duty payment.
