These documents tell local authorities what funding is available to support the:

  • Afghan Locally Engaged Staff Ex Gratia scheme
  • Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy
  • Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme

They explain:

  • how the funding works
  • how local authorities can use it to support Afghans
  • how to claim funding

They apply to the 2023 to 2024 financial year.

  6. Added document: Funding healthcare in England in support of the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme and the Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy and eligible British nationals.

  7. Hotel and temporary accommodation wraparound support, 2023 to 2024 has been updated to reflect changes to the instructions for local authorities on delivering support and claiming for support.
