We use online surveys to gather childrens and young peoples views about their experiences of:

• living in childrens homes (including secure childrens homes)
• living with foster carers
• staying at residential special schools, boarding schools and further education residential accommodation

We use the responses along with other information we have, such as previous inspection findings or any concerns, to decide when to inspect and what to focus on when we do.

We have included the accompanying data for all adult responses separately.
