It calculates the energy efficiency factor of the incinerator using the R1 Energy Efficiency formula in Annex II of the Waste Framework Directive 2008/98/EC.

Revised R1 energy efficiency formula - we have added a field for the user to select the relevant assessment stage, for example initial assessment using design data, annual validation. We have also made the calculation tabs visible to allow users to better understand how the result is calculated.
