This publication fulfils one of the recommendations made by the Public Accounts Committee in its September 2022 report and has been published as an update to the Electronic Monitoring Strategy.
It sets out the steps we have taken to:
- improve data collection and analysis in tagging services;
- monitor the delivery of benefits; and
- build the evidence base for the impact of tagging on reoffending and
offenders diversion from prison.
