Leaving care allowance uplift: section 31 grant determination letter

The leaving care allowance will increase from 2,000 to 3,000 from 1 April 2023. This letter confirms the 2023 to 2025 funding allocations for local authorities to enable them to pay the 1,000 uplift to young people leaving care.
