Michael Walker, Consultant Referee Analyst to the Government Chemist, will be among leading specialists in food safety analysis presenting at a Separation Science eSeminar this month.

The free 2-day eSeminar series features presentations from leading international experts on the analysis of environmentally derived contaminants in foods. It includes updates on new methods and applications in food safety analysis.

Michael will describe mycotoxin sampling and analysis in the context of European food law and mycotoxin toxicity. He will emphasise the importance of proper adherence to rigorous sampling procedures and, if disputes arise, the basis of technical appeals to the Government Chemist. This will be illustrated by some appeal outcomes.

The eSeminar series will be broadcast on Tuesday 28 and Thursday 30 April, with Michaels presentation scheduled for 4pm on 30 April. To register, visit the Separation Science website.
