Transparency data: Environment Agency executive directors and board members' expenses

Environment Agency

The Environment Agency delivers flood risk management, environmental regulation and other environmental services across England. The Chair, Chief Executive and executive directors travel frequently to carry out their work. Early starts and late finishes mean overnight stays are often necessary.

Some foreign travel is required so that the Environment Agency can work effectively with the European Commission and environmental regulators in other countries.

To minimise carbon emissions, we use mostly public transport. We get best value for our travel and hotel accommodation through the Environment Agency and cross-government procurement contracts.

The documents provide quarterly summaries of expenses incurred by the Chair, Chief Executive and executive directors by financial year.
