This will help ensure that Wales continues to create a greener built environment - in homes and the workplace - to ultimately save people money.
This will be her key message when she addresses the inaugural Wales Green Building Marketplace taking place today in Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
Organised by RenewableUK Cymru, the event will be an opportunity for over 100 people to hear from experts about the challenges and opportunities facing businesses and individuals in making buildings greener and more energy efficient.
Issues covered include the challenges facing the public sector in delivering large-scale energy-efficient adaptations to buildings, how to get green refurbishment and improvements to your house right first time and advice for landlords about the Renewable Heat Incentive.

Energy impacts on all our lives we need it to keep our homes and offices warm and our lights switched on.
That is why this Wales Green Building Marketplace is so vitally important. We need Government, universities, environmental champions and the building industry working together to ensure we use our energy intelligently and efficiently.
We have come a long way since 2010 over half a million UK homes (one million people) now have a solar panel on their roofs but we must continue to strive for a greener built environment, be it our homes or our workplaces.

This is the first time we have held this event and it is clear from the number of people registered this is a growing sector.
It will be good to hear from so many Wales-based experts, which will highlight the expertise we have here and also gives me a lot of confidence in the growth of the industry in the coming years. We hope to build on the success of this first time and make it even bigger and better for next year.
