The new brochure produced by UKTI in partnership with the British Council, showcases the UKs global leadership in the experience economy.

The UK is home to many world-class visitor attractions whose success is built on imagination, ingenuity and expertise skills which UK companies are keen to offer attraction developers all around the world.

The brochure shows how UK companies have used these skills internationally in a range of different ways:

  • from directly expanding their own attractions portfolio overseas

  • to providing visioning, planning and design services for projects ranging from:

    • developing a new cultural district in Dubai

    • design of the Hong Kong Maritime Museum

    • character costume design for ski resorts in Sweden

It also shows a small snapshot of what the UK can offer helping to illustrate the countrys leading status in this fast-growing sector. Whether a project calls for feasibility, architecture, construction, exhibit design, interpretation, equipment supply or management consultancy, the UK has companies with the capabilities, experience, know-how and cultural sensitivity.

The brochure launched at a reception at the London Dungeon, organised by TiLEzone.

TiLE (Trends, Technology & Design in Leisure & Entertainment), holds a range of international events bringing together senior executives from across the experience economy sector including museums, galleries, science centres, heritage sites, zoos and theme parks.
