The key stage 1 (KS1) information leaflet is for parents with a child in year 2 at primary school. End of KS1 national curriculum assessment are optional from 2024, but schools may choose to use them. The leaflet provides an overview of the purpose of the optional tests, how they work and how participating schools may use the results.

The key stage 2 information leaflet is for parents with a child in year 6 at primary school. It provides an overview of the purpose of the mandatory tests, when they are scheduled, and when results will be shared by schools.
