Schools, local authorities and others involved in primary assessments at key stage 1 (KS1) and key stage 2 (KS2) can now view the recordings of 2 interactive webinars which we broadcast live on 15 November.

Both webinars gave an opportunity to ask questions about 2017 national curriculum tests and assessments to our panel of experts.

Each recording lasts approximately 45 minutes and both webinars are accompanied by a downloadable summary of the main topics discussed, with the panels responses.

The recordings and summaries are available on STAs media and training site.

The main topics of discussion in the KS1 webinar include:

  • the tests in 2017
  • moderation
  • interim teacher assessment frameworks for 2017

The main topics discussed in the KS2 webinar include:

  • the tests in 2017
  • moderation
  • interim teacher assessment frameworks for 2017
  • accountability, including progress measures and floor standards

Others topics included the test development process, access arrangements, maladministration and assessment policy.
