This document provides:
- information on the NHS abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screening programme research advisory committee (RAC)
- guidance on how to submit projects to the RAC for review
We recommend you submit projects as early as possible for advice on the feasibility of the request. Ideally you should submit your project for review before seeking funding or ethics approvals.
Prospective applicants should contact firstname.lastname@example.org for information about the necessary approval processes to access the screening programme or the screened populations data.
If you are requesting access to data which PHE Screening cannot make available under an Open Government License then your request will be subject to the PHE Office for Data Release (ODR) approvals process. The costs for compiling the data will be recovered from the applicant in line with the PHE ODR cost recovery policy and any other costs incurred by PHE Screening.
