Mobile phone not-spots

When asked about mobile phone not-spots, the Prime Ministers Official Spokesperson (PMOS) said there was cross government agreement about the importance of dealing with this issue, and that a consultation had been launched today setting out a number of possible ways to address poor mobile coverage. The PMOS added it was important that solutions were found and implemented in the right way.

EU budget

When asked about the 1.7 billion bill, the PMOS said that technical discussions were underway and there would be a discussion at Fridays meeting of EU finance ministers. When asked about figures from the European Court of Auditors, the PMOS added that this again highlighted the need for further significant EU budgetary reform.

EU immigration

When asked about EU immigration, the PMOS said the Prime Ministers views on immigration remained entirely unchanged.
