Transparency data: Local skills improvement fund (LSIF) lead providers: 2023 to 2025

The document lists the lead providers which have been approved to receive mobilisation funding and lead the development of stage 2 of the local skills improvement fund (LSIF) application. The lead providers will set out detailed proposals for responding to the skill priorities identified in the 38 local skills improvement plans (LSIPs) that cover the whole of England.

The local skills improvement fund (LSIF) is available over 2 financial years:

  • 2023 to 2024
  • 2024 to 2025

The LSIFprovides investment to enable collaborations of further education providers to respond to the skills priorities in the local skills improvement plans (LSIPs) which are due to be published later in 2023.

LSIPs were submitted by the designated employer representative body (ERB) for each area by 31 May 2023.A designated ERB means an eligible body that has been designated by the Secretary of State to lead the development of a local skills improvement plan for a specified area.
