The Minister for Immigration has written to the Chair of The Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) authorising a review of the shortage occupation lists for the UK and for Scotland.
Employers and sponsors have until 5 December 2014 to express their opinions and provide supporting evidence.

Open sessions for partners will be held in 2 Marsham Street as follows:
- overhead lines workers, 14 October 2014
- digital technology sector, 17 October 2014
