Today, we have published our accident investigation report into the grounding of BBC Marmara while on passage from Foynes, Republic of Ireland to Scrabster, Scotland in July 2021, resulting in significant damage to the vessels hull.
Asafety flyer to the shipping industrywas also produced with this report to summarise common themes from MAIB investigations where navigational safeguards had been circumvented.
