The Investigatory Powers (Amendment) Bill received Royal Assent on 25 April 2024 and will now be known as the Investigatory Powers (Amendment) Act 2024

Draft excerpts from codes of practice have been published in order to inform debate and aid understanding in how some of the bills measures will be implemented in practice.
