Details

This document contains the Statement of Summary of Representations on The Investigatory Powers Act 2016 (Remedial) Order 2023 which provides a summary of the representations received in the first 60 days after the Remedial Order was first laid on 20 March 2023.

It also contains the governments response to the Joint Committee on Human Rights Report Proposal for a Draft Investigatory Powers Act 2016 (Remedial) Order 2023 (published by the Committee on 13 June 2023).

An updated draft of the proposed Remedial Order which contains the amendments the Home Office has made can be found at Annex A of the Statement.
