In March 2020, the government published the worlds first government modern slavery statement, which set out the steps the UK government had taken to prevent modern slavery in central government supply chains.

This report outlines the work the government has been doing with suppliers to address and tackle modern slavery in the supply chains of its goods and services in the period 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022.
