In 2021, 2022 and 2023, the National Farmers Union (NFU) and British Sugar submitted applications for emergency authorisation to use a neonicotinoid product as a seed treatment on sugar beet.
The Health and Safety Executive has completed emergency registration reports for the evaluation of these applications.
