Sir Nicholas Coleridge CBE has been Chair of the Victoria and Albert Museum since 2015, and a Trustee since 2012. He was for thirty years successively Editorial Director, Managing Director and President of the Conde Nast media group. He has been Chair of the Professional Publishers Association, Chair of the British Fashion Council, Chair of the Prince of Wales Campaign for Wool, and was Co-Chair of the late Queen Elizabeth 2nds Platinum Jubilee Pageant. He is the author of fifteen books, both fiction and non-fiction.

Remuneration and Governance Code

The Chair of Historic Royal Palaces Board is not remunerated. This reappointment has been made in accordance with the Cabinet Offices Governance Code on Public Appointments. The appointments process is regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments.
