Details

The Nutrition Labelling, Composition and Standards (NLCS) Common Framework concerns retainedEUlegislation on various areas of nutrition, labelling, food composition and mandatory nutrition declarations.

The NLCS common framework was provisionally agreed at the Joint Ministerial Committee (European Negotiations) on 3 September 2020.

The spreadsheets set out the applications, requests and policy proposals which have been submitted to Great Britain authorities for review by the NLCS policy group (formed of officials across the UK authorities). They follow the arrangements agreed in the NLCS provisional common framework and EU Regulations.
