Details

To apply for the Trust Capacity Fund (TCaF) 2023 to 2025, you must:

From 3 April 2023 we will accept applications for a new TCaF for 2023 to 2025. This fund will be for growth projects approved by a regional director from 1 January 2023. We are particularly looking for projects which address our priorities for the EIAs.

Funding will be available over 2 financial years, where appropriate. Larger tariffs will be available for trust growth projects which involve underperforming schools in EIAs. We will also welcome applications for projects which involve groups of schools.

TCaF is part of a package that supports the growth of multi-academy trusts (MATs), particularly those in EIAs. The Trust Establishment and Growth (TEG) fund is also part of this package and provides funding to support the initial development of growth projects.

There are also separate lists of TCaF award recipients from 2019 to 2023. The use of any information sent to us is governed by the privacy policy.

The Expenditure plan publication is not accessible because some cells have been locked to maintain the integrity of the worksheet. This means the applicant information doesnt meetWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.3.2 meaningful sequence. Our teams are working to fix this by 1 May 2023.
