The consultation seeks views on changes to the way care and support is funded, through the introduction of a cap on care costs. It also asks for comments on proposals for a new system of appeals.
This is the last chance to have a say on how this legislation should work before it comes into force. We would like views from people with experience of care and support - from those with needs for care and support, and their carers, as well as the professionals who are responsible for delivering and commissioning care.
The cap protects working age and retired adults from care costs rising above 72,000.
So far, the questions around the cap on care costs for working age adults and measuring what counts towards the cap are attracting the most comments.
