Transparency data: Highways maintenance funding allocations

Shows the local Highways Maintenance Block (HMB), Potholes Fund, and Integrated Transport Block (ITB) funding amounts given to individual highway authorities and combined authorities. The entries are separated according to the 8 regions of England (excluding London):

  • East Midlands
  • East of England
  • North East
  • North West
  • South East
  • South West
  • West Midlands
  • Yorkshire and the Humber

Individual authority funding amounts are stated. Funding amounts provided are for the financial years 2020/21 to 2024/25.

An additional 15 million funding for highway maintenance was awarded to 39 councils in England, through the Traffic signals maintenance scheme, in August 2021.

The previous allocations of 2015 to 2021 were released in 2014.
