This report evaluates the impact of deploying capital advisers, who are technical building experts, to 70 academy trusts from September 2022 to March 2023.

Capital advisers were deployed to revisit the 20 trusts that were part of the capital advisers programme pilot evaluation and to a further 50 trusts for the part 1 evaluation.
