Social work teaching partnerships evaluation: interim report

The social work teaching partnerships programme was developed to bring educators and employers together to:

  • make education more relevant to practice
  • raise standards
  • drive up quality for students and practitioners in children and adults social work

The evaluation:

  • investigates the activity that teaching partnerships have delivered to date
  • assesses how far they have addressed the objectives of the programme
  • identifies early outcomes

One of the key aims of the report is to share learning and practice across local authorities and higher education institutes to support the development of new ideas and approaches to social work education and continuing professional development.
