NCFE reviewed the status of the level 3 early years educator criteria to improve their quality and rigour. This report provides their findings and proposed revised criteria, based on feedback from stakeholders and user-tested recommendations.

The government is currently consulting on the revised criteria. This report is for anyone who is responding to that consultation, or who has an interest in these qualifications.
