This guidance is forEYITTproviders and lead schools. It explains the process for providers requestingEYITTplaces for the 2024 to 2025 academic year.

Providers who have bid for EYITT places for the 2024 to 2025 academic year will have received a notification from the Department for Education (DfE) regarding the number of places they have been allocated.

Undergraduate courses leading toearly years teacher status (EYTS)are not subject to allocations for the 2024 to 2025 academic year.

This guidance only applies to the 2024 to 2025 academic year. The process may be modified in future years.
