Criteria for practitioners and staff working in early years settings, who completed or registered for a childcare qualification before 1 September 2014.
If a persons qualification meets the full and relevant criteria set by DfE, you can count them, at the appropriate level, in the early years foundation stage (EYFS) staff:child ratios.
These are set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
