This notice should be read in conjunction with the merchant shipping and fishing vessels (health and safety at work) regulations 1997 (S.I 1997/2962) and Code of Safe Working Practices for Merchant Seafarers (COSWP) and replaces MGN 533 (M) amendment 1.
Amendment 2 updates references and industry best practice in carrying out risk assessments.
