The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and sectoral regulators have powers to apply, investigate and enforce the Chapter I and Chapter II prohibitions in the Competition Act 1998 (CA98) and Articles 101 and 102 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU).

This register includes:

  • in force temporary directions (interim measures) that have been imposed before the end of an investigation
  • in force final directions given at the end of an investigation (following an infringement decision)
  • commitments (current binding promises) that relate to the future conduct of a business and have been accepted by the CMA to address competition concerns
