Kenna Kintrea joins the Civil Nuclear Police Authority

The Chairman of the Civil Nuclear Police Authority (CNPA), Sir Philip Trousdell, welcomed a new authority member last month, with Kenna Kintrea joining as an Industry Representative Member.

Kenna Kintrea was appointed as Assurance Director at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in April 2013 and is responsible for oversight of delivery of projects and programmes across the NDA estate.
Prior to joining the NDA, Kenna worked at the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) for 6 years with responsibility for oversight of the delivery of the ODAs programme of capital works, including the venues and infrastructure of the Olympic Park in Stratford.

Kenna has extensive experience in the delivery of major projects and programmes. Before joining the ODA Kenna was Director of Quality and Programme Management with Ford Motor Company, having spent the preceding 25 years in a variety of programme/project management and engineering positions at Ford, in the UK, Germany and the US.

Kenna has a degree in Engineering Science and an MBA and is a Fellow of the Association for Project Management.

Sir Phillip Trousdell said: I am delighted to welcome Kenna to the Civil Nuclear Police Authority. Her wide experience in various areas of commercial governance and the nuclear industry will be of enormous benefit as we face a period of sustained evolution.

Kenna said: I am delighted to be appointed to the CNPA, which carries out such important work in contributing to the national security infrastructure in its role overseeing the Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC). I am looking forward to giving an industry viewpoint on future matters and discussions.
