A review of the CAA will give a detailed assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of CAAs functions and structures, its governance and its accountability to parliament and the Department for Transport.

The review will be led by an independent lead reviewer, Jeremy Newman, who with the support of a review team, will consult a broad range of stakeholders including UK government departments, devolved administrations, consumers, businesses, and representative bodies, as well as with CAAs own staff and management.
