Conference to set the agenda for regulatory services

The Year Ahead for Regulatory Services Conference 2014, to be held on Thursday and Friday, 13 and 14 February, at the Holiday Inn, Stratford-upon-Avon, will play an important role in shaping the regulatory services agenda.

The Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO) will lead several workshops at the event. On the Thursday, BRDO director Sarah Smith will chair Better Local Outcomes - Implementing the Regulators Code. Among those taking part will be Michael King of the Local Government Association and Andrew Litchfield of Wragge.

Also on the Thursday, BRDO deputy director Duncan Johnson will chair Better Local Outcomes - implementing Primary Authority. John Tebbit of the Construction Products Association and Michelle Manson of Surrey County Council will be participating.

On Friday, Duncan Johnson will also chair a workshop on business engagement. A full agenda can be downloaded from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health website

The Year Ahead is a partnership between the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Local Government Association, the Trading Standards Institute and BRDO.
