On 8 December 2014, the court dismissed the claimants application for judicial review and upheld the governments decision to close the Independent Living Fund (ILF) on 30 June 2015.
The ILF remains committed to supporting its users between now and 30 June 2015. It will therefore continue to prepare them for transfer to their local authority or any agreed new arrangements within the devolved administrations.
