Experts are encouraged to join two existing registers of specialists from which the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) commissions short pieces of scientific work. We are looking for individuals with the experience and ability to provide evidence, analysis or technical advice across our remit to regulate consumer and construction products, in areas such as the natural, chemical and analytical sciences, toxicology, material science, fire sciences, or civil and structural engineering.
As a member of these registers, you will inform our thinking and contribute directly to the safety of consumer and construction products, benefitting UK consumers and supporting effective evidence-based regulation.
