Role
The role is responsible for managing the integrity of the VMDs ledger by working closely with the Finance team and ensuring consistency with the requirements of the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM) and accounting standards (IFRS).
You will engage with the external auditors (NAO) to deliver supporting documentation for the financial statements at interim and final audit.
You will also engage with the core Defra team, working with finance business partners to report on VMDs outturn, and with budget leads to provide financial management support.
