The Home Office amended the Misuse of Drugs Regulations (MDR) which came into force on 1 June 2015. The amendments introduce the requirement to use a mandatory form for requisitions of Schedule 2 and 3 controlled drugs from the 30 November 2015. The form has now been published on the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) webpages.
The rescheduling of ketamine to Schedule 2 also takes effect from 30 November 2015.
