UK Visas and Immigration guidance on how staff consider applications for further leave to remain made on or after 9 July 2012 by an applicant without valid leave.
This guidance has been updated with changes to incorporate applications that have been rejected and to account for both the coronavirus extension concession and exceptional assurance schemes that were in use during the COVID-19 pandemic. These changes are reflected in paragraph 39E(2), 39E(5) and 39F.
