Bristol Evening Seminar: More than a provider - the voluntary sector's experience of commissioning (June 2015)
An overview of this Academy for Justice Commissioning evening seminar, including a copy of the seminar presentation

featuring

Nathan Dick, Head of Policy and Communications, Clinks

and

Ursula Lindenberg, VOICES

In this seminar Nathan discussed feedback Clinks’ has gathered from a range of charities engaged in both national and local commissioning to deliver support services for people in the Criminal Justice System. He also gave an insight into what is working, as well as what could be improved and also offered some early evidence of the impact that Transforming Rehabilitation is having on the voluntary sector’s role in the resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders.

VOICES is a new domestic abuse charity based in Bath. Ursula shared her experience of the challenges facing a survivor-led organisation seeking to build a sustainable structure and empower vulnerable, disadvantaged women in a difficult economic environment and with minimal support.
