This document sets out the overall governance framework and the formal operating relationship between the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), (formerly the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)) and the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA).
It acts as a central reference point for everyone involved between DESNZ and UKAEA, and supports them in making strategic, policy, and financial decisions and agreements with confidence.
