Framomycin 150 mg/ml solution for injection: Product defect alert
Product defect recall alert for Framomycin 150 mg/ml solution for injection, manufactured by Elanco Animal Health.

We wish to make wholesaler dealers aware that the VMD has been notified that two batches of Framomycin 150 mg/ml solution for injection, Marketing Authorisation No. Vm 12501/14106, are being recalled with immediate effect.

Affected batches: G1211-02 and G3823-02

The reason for the recall is that these batches have an incorrect expiry date printed on the carton and vial label. No other batches are affected. Wholesalers are advised to immediately quarantine any units of this product and contact Elanco so that they can arrange collection.
