Ofsted launched the Big Listen in March 2024.
Alongside the Big Listen, Dame Christine Gilbert carried out an independent learning reviewinto Ofsteds response to the death of headteacher Ruth Perry. Dame Christine Gilbert recommended that Ofsteds actions and other improvement and development initiatives (including those arising from the Big Listen) should be integrated into a single, overarching improvement and development plan.
These monitoring reports set out Ofsteds actions from the response and will be updated and published after every Board meeting.
