Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission

The Marshall Aid Commemoration Act 1953 was passed by the UK Parliament to express enduring gratitude to the American people for the post-Second World War Marshall Plan for economic reconstruction.
This Act established a series of scholarships for young Americans to study for a postgraduate degree at a UK University. These scholarships are funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and administered in the UK by theMarshall Aid Commemoration Commission.
This 70th annual report of the Commission covers activities of the scholarship scheme during the year ending 30 September 2023.
