Man overboard from a potting vessel 1 nautical mile north of Jack Sound, Pembrokeshire, Wales, with the loss of 1 life.

Today, we have published our accident investigation report into the man overboard from the potting vessel Wilaya (M36) on 1 May 2025, which resulted in one fatality.

The report, available via this link, contains details of what happened, subsequent actions taken and recommendations.

A safety flyer to the fishing industry has also been produced with this report.
