New guidance after discussion with provider representative bodies.

Our guidance on expert witness fees has been updated following discussions with provider representative bodies.

The expert witness fee guide includes new guidance on:

  • expert activity time guidelines
  • expert witness standards in family matters
  • independent social workers, Parenting Assessment Manual assessments (PAMs), psychotherapists and translation services
  • payment of experts’ bills and pre-December 2013 expert invoices
