The quarterly police officer uplift statistics published in July 2023 was the final release of these statistics. Reporting on the size and composition of the police workforce will continue on a biannual basis in the Police workforce, England and Wales statistical bulletin.
Final position as at March 2023 for the recruitment of an additional 20,000 police officers in England and Wales.
